Kubota gravimetric feeders and pellet screening systems at IPF Japan 2014

OSAKA, JAPAN– Kubota joins the International Plastic Fair Japan 2014 when the exhibition opens on 28 October to 1 November 2014. On display at Hall 7, booth 70107, are Kubota’s variety of Gravimetric Feeders, Pellet Screening Systems and other process equipment. These include: NX Model Gravimetric Feeders in Twin and Single Screw versions; Loss in Weight Feeder; Weigh Belt Feeder; Controls for Gravimetric Feeders; and Pellet Screening System – Model Super PLATON II.

The NX Gravimetric Feeders models include the innovative designs with unique diagonal

agitator and negative wall hopper angle which promote material flow in the feeder to provide

a higher feeding performance.

The Super Platon II Pellet Screening System is able to detect black spots and off-color

contaminants in a pellet stream using two high-resolution line sensor cameras. These units are installed at the end of a compounding line to remove defective pellets and therefore

improve the quality of the final product.
