Shimadzu Scientific Instruments’ Nexera MX ultra-high speed LCMS system for multiplex analysis can process as much as twice the number of samples compared with conventional systems in the same amount of time. It completed analysis in one study of four biomarker compounds within only 38 seconds as opposed to the 1 minute and 22 seconds required by a conventional HPLC.
The solution offers greater analytical throughput. It enables laboratories to achieve increased operational efficiency and profitability.

Nexera MX ultra-high speed LCMS system
The system uses Nexera MX Dual Stream Technology (MX-DST) to enable continuous data analysis through the incorporation of a special flow line structure and instrument control system. Its use of two analysis streams alternately, with one stream completing data acquisition whilst the other beginning data acquisition, enables it to perform overlap control of sample injections.
The Nexera MX system features custom MX Solution software, LabSolutions Insight, and high-capacity ultra-fast SIL-30ACMP autosampler. The first enables analysis with just three clicks, and the second sorts and analyses large amounts of data quickly through special flagging functions. The SIL-30ACMP autosampler enables Nexera MX’s overlap injections for a 20-second analysis cycle whilst achieving ultra-low carryover.
