CRAFT brewing, or producing beer in small-scale, has been on the rise in the US, growing 311% over the last five years. The lucrative business has attracted non-brewers to the industry. But for those without experience, venturing into craft requires attending hands-on workshops.

Rockwell Rutter and Daniel Siegel have made it easier for aspirants to learn about craft distillery by putting up Artisan Craft Distilling University, an online university for potential brewers. The founders have a wide collection of video and audio footage of industry professionals that aims to teach students the aspects of legal craft distillery. For a fraction of the cost, the online university has information on operating a commercial still, marketing methods for distilleries, fermentation fundamentals, federal, state and local licensing considerations, labeling requirements, and in-depth interviews with actual distillers.
The site continues to grow, and now has over 22 hours of educational content. Students are able to sign up for the site in one of two ways: 1) a lifetime membership which provides them access to everything the site has to offer for a one-time fee; or 2) a less-expensive monthly membership where students are better able to control their costs.
