SAUCE and condiment group Lee Kum Kee exhibited the "Taste of Style" collection this October, when it became the first-ever sauce and condiment group to participate in "Style Hong Kong Show" organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This summer, Lee Kum Kee rolled out a fashion design competition to select the most talented students in Hong Kong. The winning creations (left to right), "Origin", "Revolution" and "Waves" were by created by Hermione Chan from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Denise Ng and Abegail Del Sol Razo from Raffles College, also in Hong Kong. The designs reflect the Chinese origins of Lee Kum Kee's oyster sauce, the brand elements of Lee Kum Kee-innovatively launch different sauces with traditional taste of Chinese sauces, and the source-10kg of pollution-free oysters is required for a kilogram of oyster sauce. "Fashion represents trend, style and innovation, which are the brand equity of Lee Kum Kee," said Leslie Fung, executive vice president for Corporate Affairs. "We selected 'Taste of Style' as our theme because Lee Kum Kee is a brand promoting stylish dinning. Our sauces and condiments aim to stimulate the taste buds of each individual in the world. Through the outfits, we want the audiences to experience the delicious and stylish elements of our brand," Mr Fung said. After the Show, LKK will exhibit all outfits in different countries where Lee Kum Kee is sold and operates.
