Leibinger to debut JET3up at Anuga FoodTec

GERMAN industrial marking and camera verification systems manufacturer Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG will launch its latest continuous inkjet printer, the JET3up, at Anuga FoodTec on 24-27 March in Cologne, Germany.

The JET3up, which replaces the successful JET3, features new functions, a better interface design, and state-of-the art inkjet technology for better print quality and more economical production. It uses the automated Sealtronic nozzle seal common in Leibinger printer to prevent the ink in the print head from drying out during a long downtime, ensuring usability any time within seconds.

To withstand rough and wet production environments in the food and beverage market, the company’s JET3up pro comes in an IP65-rated stable stainless steel housing.

Leibinger’s small-character inkjet printers have been developed and produced in-house to guarantee high quality and reliability. They are capable of marking all conceivable surfaces and materials with fast-drying inks without making contact and during ongoing production. The products support printing on glass, cardboard, paper, metal, or plastic. Direct printing on food is enabled with special FDA-compliant and MEK-free inks.

The company also offers the LKS5 flexible camera verification system, which monitors variable and fixed production data using high-resolution cameras.
