Lesaffre launches yeast protein at Vitafoods Asia

LESAFFRE Human Care supplies science-backed ingredients from yeast and bacteria fermentation for global human care. Its health ingredients are suited for products targeted at consumers who desire overall wellness through nutritious diets and active lifestyles. For the first time in Asia, the company will introduce Lynside® ProteYn, a new ingredient that can further enhance the health benefits of nutrition products.

Lynside® ProteYn ingredients are characterized by an excellent chemical score¹ and Protein Digestibility–Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCASS²), respectively above 100% and greater than 1, which is similar to dairy protein and much higher than all plant-based proteins. They are packed with micronutrients such as naturally occurring fibers, B vitamins and minerals; and are non-GMO, allergen-free (gluten, dairy and soy-free), free from anti-nutritional factors and produced without pesticides or antibiotics for growth. 

Probiotic microorganisms
