Linpac, Bomark sign exclusive supply & distribution deal

AN EXCLUSIVE supply and distribution agreement between Linpac and Bomark will allow both companies to partake of the growing packaging business in the Balkans.

Linpac, a fresh food packaging producer based in the UK will sell its distribution businesses in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Serbia to Bomark which will become exclusive distributor of Linpac packaging products in these territories.

"This is an excellent opportunity for Bomark and Linpac to participate in growing their presence in partnership in the Balkans, with each side able to concentrate on what it does best,” according to Daniel Dayan, CEO of Linpac. “Customers will continue to benefit from high quality packaging for fresh and chilled foods produced to exacting standards in Linpac's plants, whilst enjoying the proximity, short lead times and excellent service that Bomark can provide.  Linpac’s sales operations in the region are profitable and successful but small in the context of the Linpac Group.  We are sure that these businesses will flourish as part of a much larger and regionally-focused market leader."

Linpac specializes in thermoformed packaging and packaging films for fresh and chilled foods which are sold in over 70 countries. The company has plants in nine countries.

Based in the Balkans, Bomark is a distributor as well as supplier of stretch PE films for markets in Europe.
