Linx exhibits latest coders, printers

LINX Printing Technologies will showcase cutting-edge equipment at PACK EXPO International 2014, from 2-4 November in Chicago. Its printers and coders are used in industries where product identification codes, batch numbers, dates and barcodes are required.

The Linx CJ400 continuous ink jet printer was the winner of the ‘Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine’ category at the UK’s PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association) Group Industry Awards 2012. Portable and quick to set-up, this model flaunts the Easi-Change? Service Module which enables scheduled maintenance even without the assistance of a trained technician or service call. This feature is useful for smaller customers and those in remote regions.  The model has features that reduce cleaning costs, and ink and solvent consumption.

Linx CJ400 continuous ink jet printer

As businesses grow, companies need to change their coding needs, too. For them the Linx 5900 CIJ printer is a model that can be upgraded anytime so users don’t have to buy another printer as their business expands. It offers minimum maintenance costs and extended service intervals of up to 6,000 hours. 

The Linx SL102 10 Watt laser coder is can be customised to individual materials, line speeds and code requirements, to ensure coding onto a range of customer applications. It has a long laser tube life, less downtime and lower cost. The LinxVision? colour touch screen incorporates a WYSIWYG display for simple operation. The Linx SL102 can alternatively be operated via a PC or network.

Linx 7900 CIJ printer

The Linx 7900 CIJ printer comes with the Linx Insight? software, a remote web interface that allows users to monitor and control their Linx 7900 printers through a web browser, either via a PC or a web enabled smartphone. With a new ink system technology, the printer works up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services. A warranty of up to 18 months is offered at no extra cost.
