Linx Printing Technologies announces two new appointments

LINX Printing Technologies has announced Steve Cheek and Matt Eastham are joining the company as director of Product Planning and product manager for Laser, respectively.  The new appointees will be based at the company’s headquarters in St. Ives, Cambs.

Before joining Linx, Mr Cheek worked with the Danaher group for 11 years as general manager of the Fluke China R&D and Planning teams. He has served as general manager of the Danaher Development Centre in Shanghai since 2006.  He says future product directions at Linx will revolve around innovation and responding to customer needs. 

Mr Eastham leverages years of experience in product management, business development, and sales. He also has a proven track record in growing new product categories.

As the new product manager for Laser, Mr Eastham noted that Linx SL coders are reliable in even the most demanding factory environments. Unlike market counterparts, the SL coders do not require expensive factory air for cooling, which cuts coding costs. The service intervals are also much longer than industry standard. 

Linx Printing Technologies is a leading global supplier of continuous ink jet (CIJ) printers, case coders, laser coders, thermal transfer printers and thermal inkjet printers, for  industries where product identification codes, batch numbers, dates and barcodes are required.
