Luxe Pack Monaco 2015 highlights new packaging trends

CUTTING-EDGE and innovative packaging takes center stage at Luxe Pack Monaco 2015.

The 28th edition of the global benchmark for creative packaging, which will run from October 21 to 23 at the Grimaldi Forum, is expected to be bigger than previous runs with more than 450 exhibitors gathered under one roof.  To accommodate the bigger exhibitor count, new spaces within the venue such as the Indigo space, formerly Café Llorca, will be opened. The Diaghilev Hall will also be expanded.

Innovations and top productions from exhibitors will be showcased at the Luxe Pack Arena. This will provide show visitors a glimpse into current and upcoming trends, allowing them to discover brand-new solutions and key manufacturers.

The Retail in Pack, conducted in collaboration with the ENSAAMA Academy, provides an exclusive presentation on the creation of luxury wine and spirit brands. This will also provide an insight into product repositioning in relation to new consumption practices.

The conference program, which will involve top experts, brand movers, and shakers, will cover market developments and challenges. Discussions will revolve around COP 21, strategies for Asia in 2025, the crossover trends in the packaging of wines and spirits and perfumes, and other trends affecting the market. 

The concurrent roundtable discussions zero on the digital revolution that is reshaping the packaging world. In addition to trends for sophisticated packaging, the topics cover shipping, fraud prevention, and consumer interaction. Discussions will also cover finishing and decoration techniques, as well as printing on all types of material, including glass, plastic, metal, paper, wood, leather, and porcelain.
