Luxe Pack Shanghai: Host of creative packaging

MORE THAN 150 exhibitors and 3,500 buyers are participating at this year’s LUXE PACK Shanghai,a leading event for the creative packaging industry. The fair is scheduled from April 16-17 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. Designs are for fine food, tea fields, liquor, confectionery, and other products such as cosmetics, perfume, fashion accessories, writing instruments, and more.

Sustainable design

Participants can vie for the most sustainable design in “LUXE PACK in green”. This year, judges will include Damien Parenteau, purchasing &development director of Chanel China, FrédéricLiberman, general manager of Yves Rocher Group, Richard Brubaker, professor of sustainability at CEIBS, Qilian Wang, president of Richun Tea Ltd, Cécile Lochard, CEO of Citizen Luxury Conseil andZhe Yu, director of Research & Development Vat’s Group.

At the LUXE PACK forum innovation, visitors can explore the most recent R&D achievements, from a series of new technologies, to materials and processes. Some participants will have an opportunity to present their new technology and products. At the series of seminars, visitors will be able to engage with experts in the packaging industry, including Brigitte and Jean-Jacques Evrard, founders of Pentawards, who will analyse the major trends through the Pentawards winning packaging design from the Far East to the West.
