LVMH’s perfumes and cosmetics sales posted 6% organic growth for the first quarter of 2015, higher than the 3% organic growth achieved for the whole company during the same period. Beauty sales for the quarter totaled $1.15 billion in revenue. Overall company revenue for the same period hit €8.3 billion, representing higher organic growth than Q1 2014.
The continued success of J’adore and Miss Dior contributed to the strong performance of Christian Dior. Buoyant sales in the make-up segment also drive growth.
Meanwhile, Guerlain has introduced its new L’Homme Idйal fragrance. It has also inaugurated a new facility in Chartres for skincare and make-up.
Benefit likewise showed strong performance, owed mostly to the success of its innovative products. The Fresh and Make Up For Ever categories have been expanding rapidly.
