LycoRed premix plant in China to serve Asian requirements

Natural carotenoids specialist LycoRed Ltd said its new premix plant in Changzhou, China, is fully approved and halal-certified. One of the largest premix factories in Asia, the fully operational plant will serve processors of infant formula, baby food, beverage and other food products in Asia Pacific, the company said.

“Our formulations are manufactured under the most stringent specifications in the market for delivering the safest premixes. We are proud to have received all necessary certifications and can ensure our customers will receive the highest quality blends possible,” said Ilan Ron, VP Sales & Marketing for LycoRed.

 Vitamin and mineral premix concepts designed specifically for Asia-based processors will be part of LycoRed’s showcase at booth No. 120 in Vitafoods Asia (September 5-7, Asia WorldExpo, Hong Kong). The LycoRed team will be on hand to discuss nutrition trends and new opportunities in premixes.

“We recently received our Halal MUI certificate for our new vitamins D3, E and K1 formulations,” Mr Ron also said. “These vitamins are made with a proprietary spray-drying process to ensure completely solubility of vitamins. They can be used in premixes for infant formula and baby food, as well as in dry blends for beverages.”

Concurrently, LycoRed appointed Jason Foo, as Sales and Business Development manager. Mr Foo will handle all sales and business development in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
