Machinex Arabia 2014:Premier exchange platform for buyers

THE 4th edition of MACHINEX Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s International Machinery and Equipment Exhibition, was a showcase of state-of-the-art technology and technique, with participants coming from Turkey, Austria, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK and the USA.

 

THE 4th edition of MACHINEX Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s International Machinery and Equipment Exhibition, was a showcase of state-of-the-art technology and technique, with participants coming from Turkey, Austria, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK and the USA.

Mazen Batterjee, vice-chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) inaugurated the event, which took place from February 9-12 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events. Attendees came from various industries including general machinery engineering, automobile manufacturing, mould die-making,and components supply. The focal points of interest were the sectors of metal cutting machine tools, special purpose machines, automation and motion, precision tools, metal forming machines and components.

“We aimed to provide not only a showcase of new and advanced machines and equipment, but also a forum with engaging and informative discussions by top industry leaders. We are pleased with our results for 2014, and I believe the fair’s influence will continue to grow for years to come,” said Zahoor Siddique, vice president of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions.

“It is always a successful experience where we are able to meet existing clients, potential clients and network with the industry. We will continue our participation in the next editions as we regard Machinex Arabia as an important occasion,” Eng. Ziad Shata, General Manager of MNAF3 Industrial Company. “Our primary goal at the show was to build bigger brand awareness, and I believe we achieved this with great success.”

Turkey was represented by about 40 companies. According to Turkish Consul General Fikret ?zer, his government is giving more attention to trade shows in the KSA. “The Saudi market is considered as one of the fastest growing economy in the world and due to our strong relation with Saudi Arabia, we are offering our best products for Saudi investors,” he said.
