Mamee and F&N Beverages honoured

FROST & SULLIVAN honoured Malaysia’s best at the 2013 Frost & Sullivan  Malaysia  Excellence Awards banquet in May at the Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Now in its ninth consecutive year, the Awards aims torecognise Malaysian companies for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior  performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development.

In the Food category, Mamee Double Decker Food Specialities Sdn Bhd  was  awarded ‘Home-Grown Packaged Food Company of the Year’and F&N Beverages Marketing Bhd was recognised as  ‘Non-Alcoholic Beverage Company of the Year’.

Instant noodle and snacks producer Mamee has over 30% of the instant noodle market in Malaysia and owns the country’s best-selling snack brand ‘Mr Potato’. The company also exports to Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Russia, the Netherlands and the Middle East.

F&N Beverages, Malaysia’s largest soft drinks distributor and manufacturer, operates four manufacturing plants nationwide, including a state-of-the-art facility at its headquarters in Shah Alam, Selangor. Its brands include 100PLUS, F&N Fun Flavours, SEASONS, Fruit Tree, Ice Mountain Mineral Water and F&N Cordials.
