The twin combination of Manufacturing Indonesia and Machine Tool Indonesia makes an impressive return on 5-8 December 2012 to feature the biggest ever opportunity for the manufacturing and precision engineering community from across Indonesia to discover the best in technology, innovations, state-of-the-art machinery and processing solutions for a multitude of industrial applications.
The host country, Indonesia has risen in prominence as a global manufacturing centre. Its manufacturing and precision engineering industries are transforming rapidly to serve an increasingly diversified industrial base. Despite the global economic challenges, Indonesia’s economy is forecasted to grow at 6.3% with FDI expected to reach USD 21.7 billion.
The figures underline Indonesia as a promising and attractive regional manufacturing center, which has contributed to the continuing growth of both its domestic and export sectors. Manufacturing and Machine Tool Indonesia 2012 will provide access to the most awaited technology and solutions that will facilitate on boosting manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
The 2011 edition of Manufacturing and Machine Tool Indonesia proved to be a successful platform for the growing industry. It attracted 2,400 exhibiting companies from 38 countries. With more than 23,371 high-level trade visitors and buyers from the region visiting the trade show, it has become a key convergent point for manufacturing and precision engineering industries.
With the exhibition space enlarged to over 32,500 sqm, the current editions in 2012 of the respective exhibitions will once again provide an appealing platform for exhibiting companies to showcase their latest innovations, state-of-the-art machinery and cost effective processing solutions to processors.
This year’s event has attracted some 24 group pavilions from China, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK and the USA. Making an inaugural presence, the Russian pavilion will feature 42 technology leaders with a delegation lead by Mr. Georgy Kalamanov, Vice-Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Taiwan continue to maintain strong participation at Manufacturing and Machine Tool Indonesia 2012 with multiple concurrent pavilions at the events.
