Manufacturing technology orders up 80.5% from 2010

The U.S. manufacturing technology orders totaled U$463.32 million, according to AMT-The Association For Manufacturing Technology and AMTDA, the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Association. This total, as reported by companies participating in the USMTO program, was down 22.4% from September but up 20.3% when compared with the total of US$385.21 million reported for October 2010.
