Marc Jacobs Beauty has launched MarcJacobsBeauty.com, the brand’s new e-commerce site. The site will feature over 150 products in the Marc Jacobs Beauty collection, and will also give users exclusive access to limited edition product offerings. The site also fetaures beauty advice and how-to videos.
The new website has a responsive design, showcasing high-definition product shots with zoom capability, and true-to-life product swatches.There are also places where users can post comments and reviews.
The website also highlights a unique feature on its product detail pages – hand-sketches and notes from the designer himself, revealing the behind-the-scenes insight into the creative process. Marc also makes a personal appearance via video, sharing how he defines beauty.
The team at Marc Jacobs Beauty has also created custom designed packaging that will be used to ship orders from the site, and each package includes a statement card from the designer.
Marc Jacobs Beauty has a large social media following, and one of its recent creative campaigns asked followers to “tweet for a fragrance.”
The brand has also launched a new fragrance, Daisy Dream.
