Mayr Power Transmission showcasing safety brakes and clutches

Mayr demonstrates safety brakes, safety clutches and backlash-free couplings. As a manufacturer with a wide range of products in the PT field, there is no other exhibition that attracts companies from many different industries. In today’s highly competitive market, it is essential for the machinery manufacturers to have safe and highly reliable products. Therefore our philosophy "no compromise on safety and reliability in versatile applications is the prime topic for this exhibition. The innovations we focus are on one side around the DIN ISO 13849 brakes and controllers that make vertical axis safe, including our product Roba-topstop, as well as the range of linear brakes and on the other side safety clutches for the heavy duty industry. Our application markets include packaging machines, machine tools, stage machinery, elevator applications, hoist and crane applications.

Mayr is building a new factory in ZJG and increase the capacity as well as the capability. We continue to improve our processes and Quality control. Currently we are increasing the manufacturing capabilities for products that will be made in China. The most important for us is that we have the same reliable processes and QC in all the plants all over the world.

We have attended PTC for over ten times. We use this platform to demonstrate where Mayr can offer more than other market participants. The risk is that you do not know what you do not know, i.e. where the safety hazards may be. Just a simple test will not suffice to uncover those risks. A long experience and a lot of R&D are required for this. We work out some information material to illustrate where safety hazards may be. It is our objective to communicate to the market this information. PTC is an excellent platform for this.
