MEAT traders were given valuable opportunity to raise issues impacting business with UAE Minister of Environment & Water during an open dialogue hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and H.E. Dr Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahad, UAE Minister of Environment & Water.The meeting offered members operating in the frozen and chilled meat sector the opportunity to discuss obstacles, raise issues facing them in today's market and make recommendations to the Government.The Minister said the UAE is known for its modern infrastructure and leading logistics services that are essential for traders to import and export products like meat to the highest standards, and he encouraged traders to comply with these regulations and international health standards.His Excellency explained that number of new meat markets need to be explored in order to improve food security in the country.
