HOFEX 2015 expects to fill 14 halls of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6 – 9 May 2015. Asia’s largest international food and hospitality tradeshow will gather over 2,400 companies from 57 countries to present the latest in the food and beverage industry.
A special feature at this year’s exhibition is the launch of the first-ever meat trade show in Asia – Meat @ HOFEX – at Hall 5E where trade visitors will be able to connect with over 80 of the world’s premium meat suppliers, including EBLEX from UK, US Meat Export Federation (USMEF), Japanese Wagyu beef prefectures, Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade – ICEX, Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Sutherland – a luxury meat purveyor in Hong Kong, the Welsh Meat Board, and Quality Meat Scotland.

On the side, this new event will promote the art of butchery in a new competition – Butchery Skills Challenge – which takes place alongside the Hong Kong International Culinary Classic (HKICC) endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and co-organised with Hong Kong Chefs Association.
Visitors can look forward to other activities including the 4th Spanish Ham Slicing Competition and seminars on Japanese Wagyu Cutting, Food Safety on Meat Handling, IFSA Food Safety and more.
