Medline inks deal with MemorialCare

MUNDELEIN, IL – Medline Industries has entered into an agreement to distribute MemorialCare Health System’s medical and surgical supplies. MemorialCare is a not-for-profit integrated delivery system.

Under the two-year agreement, which is expected to begin from September 1, 2012, Medline will distribute medical and surgical supplies to MemorialCare’s six medical centers in Southern California, USA.

MemorialCare Health System’s medical centers include Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach, Community Hospital Long Beach, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills and San Clemente, California, USA.

According to Medline, the agreement is expected to be worth approximately $80 million over the course of the deal, providing its array of national brand and Medline brand medical and surgical products. Medline is involved in the distribution and manufacture of health care products to hospitals, extended care facilities, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care dealers.
