MEN are Mars and women are from Venus, even in their nutritional concerns and eating habits.
A new survey from GNT Group, leading global provider of coloring foods, shows that men and women from all around the world are becoming increasingly sensitive towards products they consider unnatural. According to the survey, conducted in partnership with market research institute TNS, additives such as artificial colors and flavors have become a red rag for 67 percent of consumers worldwide. Price and brand loyalty, in comparison, are relevant to only 34 and 41 percent respectively.
The genders show big differences in nutritional habits. In Spain, France or Germany, for example, the rate of females who consider healthy and natural food important is 16 to 22 percent higher than among males. In UK, Indonesia and China, on the contrary, it is the men who top women in their concern for a well-balanced diet. See infographics below:
