NOW on its 16th year, the Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) remains a key hub for the food and beverage industry. The 2015 event, which runs from June 11–13 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), will bridge business connections between Malaysia and the world, and between Asia and the world.
MIFB 2015 is expected to bring together 300 exhibitors and 23,000 trade buyers from 45 countries. This year, MIFB will launch the International Buyers Program, which aims to connect top-tier buyers and MIFB exhibiting companies toward establishing international business partnerships. Through the Business Matching sessions, the show can prearrange appointments between exhibitors and target trade buyers. These matching sessions can connect business partners locally and globally for new business opportunities.

The show will also launch the Local Buyers Invitation Program, which aims to help Malaysian business owners of F&B retail stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, hotels, and other F&B outlets. The program will assist these local enterprises in finding the right international business partners.
Meanwhile, a conference on seafood, one of the most important sources of protein worldwide, will tackle this fastest-growing food production system worldwide. The International Seafood Safety & Trade Conference Seafood will also discuss food safety and trading.
MIFB is organized by Sphere Exhibits, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). It is co-organized by Mutiara Sigma (M) Sdn Bhd, a full-fledged events management company specializing in trade exhibitions and conferences.
