Modular case packer for the midrange market

A+F Automation + Fordertechnik GmbH, a specialist for the complete range of end of line packaging, will showcase its FlexoPac 3D at ProPak Asia.

A modular solution for a versatile application in the medium performance range, the FlexoPac uses a 4-axis Delta 3 robot to group portion cups, thermoformed trays, pouches and blister packs into cartons. It is a packing solution for products in secondary packaging. The packer can handle trays and wrap-around cases as well as cases with lids and two-piece trays.

Depending on the box type, the packer can provide an output of up to 40 cases per minute in single lane and 70 cases in dual lane operation. It can detect faulty products. Its high format flexibility ensures versatile operation.

The unit comes with 3D camera system to detect product infeed position for precise product pickup and packing.
