Mondel?z expands biscuit plant in China

IN A ground-breaking ceremony, Kraft Foods (Suzhou) Co. Ltd., part of the Mondelēz International  family of companies, celebrated the expansion of its biscuit factory in Suzhou, China. The company invested $85 million on the project, which covers 30,000 square metres. To be completed by 2014, the Suzhou plant will feature state-of-the-art production lines for Oreo and Chips Ahoy! It is expected to more than double the plant’s current capacity and create 340 new jobs.
