Plastics & Rubber
All 19 halls of fairgrounds will be fully occupied as 3,000 exhibitors flock to K 2013. More Asian companies are expected.

After the official exhibitor registration deadline end of May, it is evident that all top companies in the international plastics and rubber industry will take part in K 2013, International Trade Fair – No. 1 for Plastics and Rubber Worldwide. The overall demand for exhibit space has sharply increased and numerous exhibitors want to make a bigger impact at the event. All 19 halls of fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany will be fully occupied from October 16 - 23, 2013.

According to Werner M. Dornscheidt, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, the great interest from the entire sector confirms the outstanding status of K: “K 2013 will give us a complete overview of the changing world market, and we can look forward to a multitude of impressive innovations. We know that many of our exhibitors are already working on their new products and presentations. Düsseldorf will be a powerful source of inspiration for the plastics and rubber world!”

Some 3,000 exhibiting companies will participate in K 2013 to present their latest products from the sectors of machinery and equipment for the plastics and rubber industry; raw materials, auxiliaries; semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastics. Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the U.S. will again be particularly strongly represented, while the number of Asian manufacturers from China, Taiwan and India has again increased.

The exhibits at K 2013 will be complemented by a special show entitled “Plastics move the world”, where numerous aspects of mobility will be presented – from lightweight materials in the design of motor vehicles, aircrafts and ships to electro mobility and individual mobility. The focus will be on climate-compatible energy and transport concepts as well as on the changes in work and personal life due to mobile means of communication.
