More exhibitors to join ProPak Asia 2015

THE 23rd International Processing, Filling and Packaging Technology Event for Asia (ProPak Asia) will be held from June 17 to 20 at Halls 101 through 106 and foyer of BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

Organized by the Bangkok Exhibition Services Ltd, ProPak 2015 will feature Drinktech Asia 2015, Foodtec Asia 2015, Lab&Test Asia 2015, Packaging Materials Asia 2015, Pharmatech Asia, and Printtech Asia 2015 industry zones across an exhibition space spanning 45,000 square meters. There will be also 15 international pavilions.

This year, ProPak is looking to be the biggest in its history, with more than 1,600 exhibitors from 45 countries expected to attend and showcase their products and innovations. Among leading companies at the event are Bosch Packaging Technology, Eagle Product Inspection, Hanovia UV, Dase-Sing Packaging Technology Co. Ltd, Detectamet Ltd, Gebo Cermex, Krones, Heat & Control Pty Ltd, KHS, and Buhler Aeroglide. Participating from Thailand are Bangkok Can Engineering, Ishida Thailand, Bangyong Engineering, Berli Jucker, and Chiangmai Plastic Industry, to name a few.

International groups from China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the UK, and the US are expected to grace the fair. Italy will have two pavilions in Hall 6, one coordinated from The Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers' Association (UCIMA) with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Office in Bangkok, and the other coordinated by Processing & Packaging the Hi-Tech Italian Way. Italian companies participating are Akma Volpak, Aeco, Amut, Automha, Baltur S.p.A., Bonfiglioli Engineering Srl, Cama Group, Cavanna S.p.A, FMT Srl, and more.

Besides the varied trade exhibits, ProPak has lined up conferences for the four-day event. The program includes the Thai Packaging Centre & TISTR Conference 2015 organized by the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research and the Thai Packaging Centre, the Asia Drink Conference 2015 for senior managers in the beverage manufacturing industry, the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) Seminar 2015 to be conducted by the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP), and the PharmaTech Seminar 2015 by the Pharmaceutical Industry Association Thailand (PIAT).

For the Asia Food Beverage Thailand Conference, FoodBeverage Thailand will hold a seminar on the topic Food Challenges Toward AEC.

The 17th Food Innovation Asia Conference 2015 (FIAC 2015) will focus on the topic Innovative ASEAN Food Research towards the World Network. The conference will include food scientists and scientists in related fields on research and innovation in food science and technology, with emphasis on innovative ASEAN food research.

The trade fair will also host the Food Innovation Contest 2015, which is organized by the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT). There will also be the Thai Star and Asia Star Packaging Award 2014 organized by the Department of Industrial Promotion, The Thai Packaging Association, and Thai Corrugated Packaging Association.
