GF AgieCharmilles has raised the bar again with its new CUT 2000 and CUT 3000 high-end machining centres, with optional thirdgeneration automatic wire changer available for both machines. The automatic wire changer allows users to push performance limits as never before. Thin wire can now be used to cut thicker parts. For instance, an 80mm-thick punch can now be efficiently cut with 0.1 mm wire when the main cut is done with a larger diameter wire. The result: more power, more speed. Equipped with a highly efficient, digital Intelligent Power Generator (IPG) and Variocut, the CUT 2000 and CUT 3000 guarantee reliable machining of even the most complex parts, provide a surface finish as fine as Ra 0.05μm, and improves the life span of the tools they cut. The CUT 2000's external dimensions are 2095 x 3570 x 2232mm, while the CUT 3000's external dimensions are 2685 x 3656 x 2232mm.
