Mori Seiki opens new Shanghai solution centre

Mori Seiki Co. Ltd held an opening ceremony of its new Shanghai Solution Centre on November 10. The Shanghai headquarters, Mori Seiki (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, which was located in a tall commercial building in Shanghai city, has move to this new four-story premises.

The 10,000-square-metres facility includes its first showroom in China to demonstrate the latest in Mori Seiki technology and advanced machining processes. Customers will be able to see live demonstrations on technology specific for their business and create an opportunity for customer process testing and development.

The facility also features a modern training and media area for customer seminars, product demos and training sessions (NC school). Mori Seiki highly-skilled technician will be onsite to supply customers with engineering services including testcuts, turnkeys, and accessory integration. According to Mori Seiki, it keep parts shipment ratio within 24 hours of over 90% by having plentiful stock and provide best support to customers in China.
