Mori Seiki relocates Shanghai head office

Mori Seiki Co. Ltd will relocate the head office in China, Mori Seiki (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, from the present commercial building to a four-storied building that has a showroom and a factory of turnkey. The purpose of this relocation is to provide better customer service in China where the demand is expanding. Near the new office is GILDEMEISTER (DMG) Shanghai factory that collaborates with Mori Seiki. The new office is very convenient for customers who want to buy machines because there are many showrooms of other Japanese and European machine tool companies around the area. According to Mori Seiki, it opened the new showroom in the office so that customers can observe demonstrations on actual machines. They also opened an NC school to provide better support for customer's engineers and operators. It aims to increase parts inventory, and aim to achieve a parts shipment ratio within 24 hours of over 90%. Mori Seiki will also do time-study and test cut, and establish a turnkey section that handles small turnkey projects several times a month.nike
