Mouvex launches Product Recovery Initiative

MOUVEX, part of Pump Solutions Group (PSG^?) and a leading manufacturer of positive displacement pumps, has launched its Product Recovery Initiative at the Institute of Food Technologists’ IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo, held 21-24 June in New Orleans.

The Product Recovery Initiative shows hygienic manufacturers the potential for operational waste reduction and the associated cost savings (or “Profit Recovery”) by using Mouvex Eccentric Disc Pump Technologies.

The Mouvex Product Recovery Technology includes a complete suite of market-specific tools that have been designed to increase knowledge and highlight its tremendous cost-savings potential. A new website – available in multiple languages – serves as an online repository for market knowledge, instructional videos, brochures, blog articles and other sales tools.

Product Recovery is a term that refers to the high utilisation (or yield) of products while substantially eliminating waste – and thereby increasing profits – that would otherwise remain in suction or discharge process lines during changeovers or at the end of production runs. The key to optimising product recovery, and, by extension profit recovery, is identifying and employing the most efficient and reliable pumping technology, one that can be trusted to reliably strip suction or discharge lines of valuable raw materials and salable end products.
