Mouvex unveils addition to A series eccentric disc pumps

LEADING positive displacement pump manufacturer Mouvex®, part of PSG® and a Dover company, has recently introduced the A6 model of its A Series Eccentric Disc Pumps. 

 

The new addition to the company’s pump series is designed to replace existing Mouvex AF O pumps. Ideal for industrial applications involving both thin and viscous liquids, the Mouvex A6 pump features ductile iron construction and can handle differential pressures up to 10 bar (145 psi). This makes it suitable for the safe transfer of viscous, nonlubricating, volatile, or delicate fluids in a variety of applications. 

 

The A6 pumps feature 1 ½in suction and discharge ports and up to 5.7m3/h (25gpm) maximum flow rates. They come with various connection types and options, and are available with both Mouvex and standardized mechanical seals to speed up installations regardless of location. 

 

The Mouvex A Series of positive displacement pumps, which is known for reliability, durability, and cost effectiveness, adopts eccentric disc technology to support self-priming and run-dry capabilities at a constant flow rate in spite of viscosity and pressure changes. The pumps are capable of maintaining initial performance over time and feature 600rpm maximum speed, 55m3/h (242gpm) maximum flow rates and 1 ½-in through 4-in suction and discharge ports. They are ATEX-certified for use in potentially dangerous environments with the ability to run-dry for up to six minutes.
