MPMA receives grant from Malaysian government

    The Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) has received a RM3 million grant from the Government of Malaysia for its Talent Development Programme (TDP). This was announced by MPMA's President, Mr Lim Kok Boon, at the MPMA 44th Anniversary Dinner, which was attended by more than 1,000 guests. The MPMA TDP was developed based on a proposal from MPMA entitled "Innovation and Capacity Building: Transforming the Industry from OEM to ODM". The objective of the proposal is to strengthen the plastics industry to be globally competitive in terms of product quality, technical application as well as to develop higher technological products.
