MTA Singapore officially opens today!

The biennial four day trade event, held at the Singapore Expo’s halls three and four from 9-12 April 2013, is one of the most anticipated events for the manufacturing industry in Asia. About 500 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions will be showcasing the latest precision engineering and machine tool technologies.

As the premier industry sourcing platform in the region, MTA is the perfect stage for companies to showcase their newest innovations, as well as for everyone to share knowledge and discuss industry trends. MTA2013 is also a great opportunity for like-minded professionals to meet, network, learn from business partnerships and strike deals.

“Singapore’s precision engineering has evolved significantly over the years. From its initial traditional role as a supporting industry within Singapore, the precision engineering industry is continually evolving and transforming itself to serve global markets from Singapore,” said Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry & Ministry of National Development.

We also lead with 18 participating companies in MetrologyAsia2013 which is held alongside MTA. I would like to invite all to visit the 2 Singapore pavilions and check the offerings by our companies,” stated Ricky Souw, Chairman of Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association
