MTA Singapore: VICI Vision interview

Mr. Erick Fantini, Sales Manager, says that for the first time in Southeast Asia, VICI Vision is partnering with Optical Gaging (S) Pte Ltd (OGS). OGS is the exclusive agent.  Mr. Fantini says that OGS has good local and regional network with in-depth knowledge.  

He says that he has received positive interest from many potential customers, as the VICI measuring machines are user friendly and simple to use.  The machines have nothing more than what are needed and they increase efficiency in the shop floor. 

Mr. Fantini says that measuring direct in shop floor helps production to increase efficiency.  Customers face many challenges in the market today and using measurement to support production helps in being competitive.

The MTLX5 is a specific solution for dental implants and biomedical apparatus.  It is designed to measure dental implants, biomedical parts, watch parts and micro-mechanical small parts in general.  The high resolution, unique to its category, detects even the smallest details, making it an exclusive product for this sector.

Its direct access design facilitates loading and unloading of even the most difficult to manage pieces.  The configuration of stationary components and moving optics prevents the part from vibrating, moving or falling during measurement.  No openings and undercuts mean that should small parts fall, they can be easily retrieved.

Mr. Fantini also introduces the MTL300 Evo.  It is designed for users who demand the best even in the most adverse environments.  The exclusive Air Flow system permits use of the machine even in adverse environments.  The presence of the step-master guarantees the constant correct working order of the machine.  

The configuration with retractable sensors protects the optics from knocks during loading and unloading of the pieces and keeping the area free for the operator.  The upper tailstock, adjustable on the rack and pinion facilitates the fixing of the components.  Prismatic guides with ball runner blocks guarantee precision over time.
