Equator 300 gauging system

Renishaw will exhibit at MTA Vietnam in HCMC. One particular highlight of the Renishaw booth (AF4-1) will be the Equator 300 gauging system. Equator is a radical new alternative to traditional dedicated gauging, filling a gap in the market never before addressed. It is more than just a new gauging system; it marks the launch of Renishaw’s first gauging product line. The patented low-cost design is unique in construction and method of operation. It is capable of high-speed comparative gauging for inspection of high-volume manufactured parts. It has been developed and proven on the shop-floor in collaboration with industry-leading companies in multiple industries and applications. Equator can reduce or eliminate quality room waiting times. This is because Equator can be used on the shop floor, alongside the machines producing the parts. Other advantages are that Equator can scan the form of part features with its SP25 probe and change styli with the stylus change rack, to check a large variety of parts.
