MULTIVAC at ANUGA FoodTec

MULTIVAC exhibits its latest packaging, inspection and marking technologies at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne on 24-27 March 2015.

The company puts the spotlight on a turnkey end-to-end packaging line designed to meet requirements on flexibility, ergonomics and precision. Part of the line is the R 245 thermoformer which counts efficient use of resources as a major selling point. Die-change systems also ensure a reduction in set-up time and downtime.

The line comes with an MR293TT direct web printer, two MR625 OP cross web labellers and an MR822 checkweigher. The packs that go through it are converged by an integrated MBS 100 belt system, with the subsequent stacking of the packs being carried out by the MPS 302 pack stacker.

R 105 MF thermoforming packaging machine

For the first time, the company will present the R 105 MF thermoforming packaging machine, an entry-level model used for manufacturing MultiFresh^TM vacuum skin packs. Along with this model is a matching portfolio of MultiFresh film materials for optimal pack quality.

Traysealers

In addition, MULTIVAC will present two automatic packaging solutions from its traysealer portfolio, used for processing medium-sized and large batches. One is the T 300 traysealer equipped with a die to process trays of up to 140 mm high, as well as a direct web printer with an integrated TTO 10 thermal transfer printer.

The T 600 traysealer accommodates MAP and vacuum skin packs in large batches. The trays are marked by a BASELINE L 301 conveyor belt labeller. A metal detector is installed for quality inspection.

Double chamber machine

From its range of chamber machines, MULTIVAC will be presenting the BASELINE P 600 double chamber machine, which is equipped with double-seam separation sealing and plug-in sealing bars.

The C 200 compact model and the B 210 chamber machine will be on show, which features a modular design allowing it to be adapted to individual customer requirements.

Inspection and labelling solutions

Another focal point of the presentations will be the company’s Marking & Inspection solutions, as well as the new BASELINE I 100 X-ray inspection system, the conveyor belt labellers from the L 300 BASELINE and L 310 BASELINE series and the new generation of label dispensers will be on show.
