GLOBAL competition and constant market changes put nonstop pressure on the manufacturing industry to cut costs, increase flexibility with respect to rising customer demands and, last but not least, maximize profits. This is especially true in China, where customers now expect better quality and more flexibility in products as well the production process itself. Furthermore, increasing labor and production costs are driving demand for modern, energy-efficient manufacturing and automation systems.
Accordingly, innovation plays a crucial role in these industry sectors, particularly when it comes to using IT and software to design manufacturing plants and industrial facilities that are completely networked and self-operating – what we in Germany call Industry 4.0.

Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show, Industrial Automation Show and Energy Show are eastern China’s leading trade fairs for machine tools and metalworking, production, process and industrial building automation, and conventional and renewable energies, respectively. At this year’s events you will see that “Industry 4.0” is taking hold, and products and services are now being developed with the smart factory of the future in mind.
