Despite the global economic slowdown in 2012, Siemens PLM Software recorded a year of strong growth in South East Asia as a result of its close collaboration with partners and customers. Continued commitment from partners and customers is imperative to driving further success in the region in 2013. Siemens remains dedicated to enabling its stakeholders to make better decisions and build better products via its ecosystem of results-driven solutions and products.
With partner initiatives around technical training, sales support, certification and rewards, the partners are well-placed to develop a strong value proposition for their customers to implement solutions from Siemens PLM Software. The following are three featured partners from South East Asia.
Sunway E-systems (SES) from Malaysia is an IT arm under Sunway Group. It has been established in the PLM market since 2003 and its distribution network extends throughout South East Asia. Today, SES’ core businesses include engineering solutions, application outsourcing and IT services outsourcing. Sunway Malaysia has been working closely with Siemens PLM Software on strategic marketing initiatives, which has enabled them to achieve success in the PLM sector. One successful initiative is their monthly workshop, which lets customers and prospects experience first-hand Siemens PLM Software’s solutions. Sunway Malaysia was recognised for its marketing with the Maximise Marketing’s Contribution Award at the Go! Partner Conference.
In Indonesia, Siemen PLM Software shares PT Citrathirza Astarijaya’s (PTCA) vision to be easy to do business with, for the benefit of various stakeholders, including customers, partners and employees. PTCA was established in 1990, by three IT professionals with in-depth experience in the Indonesian IT landscape. In 2000, PTCA started selling Siemens PLM solutions as a Tier 2 partner and became Tier 1 partner in April 2012 to demonstrate their full commitment in selling Siemens PLM solutions. In just a short span of time, they have been able to establish themselves as the go-to reseller for PLM products in the automotive industry.
