New blend from Chivas Regal

AFTER eight years, Chivas Regal® introduces its new whiskey in the United States.

 

The Chivas Regal Extra was created by using some of the rarest House whiskies that have matured in Oloroso sherry casks, the company said. Now available in select US markets, this whiskey will be expanding to the rest of the country later in 2015.

 

The new blend has a fruity, sweet nose with notes of ripe pears, creamy toffee and a hint of ginger. The ripe pears continue on the palate, with sweet tropical flavours of melons and soft notes of vanilla and caramel, blending with spicy notes of cinnamon and hints of almonds.
