New Burger King outlet in Qatar

PREMIER Food Services, the Burger King franchisee in Qatar, has opened a Burger King outlet inside a Woqod station.  The new store marks the beginning of a long-term commitment by the Al Jassim Group subsidiary and the country's leading petroleum and related services marketing company to enhance the diversity of offerings at Woqod services stations.

The official opening ceremony took place in the presence of Woqod vice chairman and managing director Mohamed Khalifa Turki Al-Sobai and Al Jassim Group chairman Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Jassim Al Thani, in addition to a number of senior officials representing both companies.

The new store is the chain's fourteenth in the Gulf country, with plans to open three more this year. Burger King, home of the Whopper, also plans to launch its home delivery call centre towards the third quarter of 2011.
