New Clariant co-surfactants at in-cosmetics Asia 2014

ADDRESSING the increasing consumer demand for milder and skin-friendly personal care products, Clariant is launching a new range of multifunctional co-surfactants at in-cosmetics Asia 2014. The co-surfactant ingredients are extremely mild to skin, hair and scalp, the global  specialty chemicals said.

Clariant said the co-surfactant ingredients offer a unique combination of excellent cleaning performance and mildness. The new products are expected to open the door to inspiring new skin and hair care formulation concepts, including shower & bath products, soaps, pump-foamers and shampoos

Highly renewable, the new co-surfactants offer pleasing sensorial effects and performance advantages as well as enable formulation concepts free of EO and sulfates. They are especially suitable for sensitive skin and baby care products.

“Clariant’s new co-surfactants bring a unique level of mildness and cleaning performance to the market which makes them ideal for all skin types, including baby skin,” explained Peter Klug, Strategic Innovation Project manager, Clariant.

Mr Klug will hold a lecture on Clariant’s new co-surfactants range from 10:30-11:00 on November 5 (Wednesday), as part of the show’s conference program.
