Konecranes, the worldwide specialist in crane and lifting technology, has expanded its offer of workstation lifting systems to include the new chain hoists of the CLX series. These completely new models are available in three versions (more versions to come): - CLX02: for a lifting capacity of 63 to 320 kilograms
- CLX05: for a lifting capacity of 250 to 630 kilograms
- CLX10: for a lifting capacity of 1,000 to 2,500 kilograms
(capacities up to 5000 kilograms available later)
Quality and product characteristics
Thanks to their solid steel structure, the new CLX chain hoists can lift heavier loads than previous models and have a service life that is four times longer. The service life of the lift chain is also longer, due to the patented chain wheel. The newly developed, oil-lubricated drive system of the chain wheel allows for better power transmission and a speed ratio of 6:1, which make the CLX chain hoist 25% faster than earlier models.
An additional performance feature of CLX chain hoists is their higher safety standard. The brake and the safety clutch were designed so that in case the safety clutch fails, the load is prevented from falling. On top of all this, the CLX series is easy to maintain: all components are easily accessible, no parts need to be removed and the entire electronic system is located on two compact circuit boards. All models are energy-efficient and comply with the RoHS Directive. The chain hoists function at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.
Applications
The new generation CLX chain hoists from Konecranes are suitable for standalone applications such as assembly cells in the processing industry, as well as for work that requires speed and precision. Due to their compact shape and the low hook dimensions, they can be employed in many ways, such as for example workstation, slewing and gantry cranes, XA/XM systems or stationary pulls.nike sb
