New flow-packing options from Theegarten-Pactec at ProSweets 2013

Source:Theegarten-Pactec Release Date:2012-11-26 301
Food & Beverage

For the first time, Theegarten-Pactec and LoeschPack will be showcasing their cooperation as system providers for candy and chocolate wrapping at ProSweets 2013, the confectionery show to be held in Cologne, Germany on January 27-31, 2013 at the Koelnmesse, hall 10.1.

Both companies are experts in the processes involved, from feeding and wrapping all the way through to cartoning. These companies have been lauded by confectionery manufacturers for their jointly conducted projects. Moreover, their international positioning is either comparable or complementary.

At ProSweets 2013, Theegarten-Pactec is introducing a novelty for the formats handled by the FPC5. The FPC5FPC5/280 model variant extends the wrapping material area to widths of up to 280mm, and product format widths of up to 120mm. This enables producers to flow-pack chocolate products in the typical 100-gram format and larger formats.

This equipment is also the answer to wrapping requirements needed for confectionery including chocolates being shipped to Asia and regions with warmer climate. With its modular concept, the FPC5 can be retrofitted to extended requirements at a later stage. The five main modules consist of the product and the wrapping material feeding unit, the sealing unit, the product discharge and the control unit and electrical system. There are various options available for each of these main modules, such as low contact, vacuum supported synchronisation ensuring maximum product protection or print image precision splicing achieving a minimised number of ejected products during automatic roll changing.

MCHThe MCH is the second major exhibit. As a wrapping machine for various wrapping styles it belongs to the Theegarten-Pactec medium performance range. Especially delicate jelly products are handled by the machine; the speed of 1000 products per minute is a peak performance that continues to represent a unique position on the market. In addition to double twist wrapping, the MCH offers three additional types of wrapping: protected twist, side twist and metallic foil wrapping.

Theegarten-Pactec will be at stand G038/H039, hall 10.1.
