New MD for Exova Middle East & Asia

DUBAI – The world's largest dedicated testing group Exova, has appointed Ahmed Aboushady as managing director for its Middle East and Asia operation.

Mr Aboushady will have responsibility for delivering Exova's growth plans through its network of ten specialist laboratories across the Middle East and Asia. The laboratories provide testing services to clients in a range of sectors including oil & gas, construction, food and beverage, chemicals and the environment.
He joins Exova from global technology group Invensys, where he was most recently managing director for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq & Levant. Prior to this, he was General Manager for UAE and Kuwait.

A qualified Electrical Engineer, Ahmed worked with Honeywell from 1996 to 2002 where he progressed through both operational, business development and general management roles before joining Invensys in 2002.

Exova is a recognised leader in testing services throughout the Middle East and Asia region having provided testing services on a number of leading projects including the Dubai Metro, The Palm Development, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix circuit, Ruwais Refinery Expansion and Shah Gas development in Abu Dhabi, Wasit Gas Development and Shaybah NGL in Saudi Arabia, and Gorgon LNG in Australia.
