New plastic pallet for food distribution

FROM February 10 to 12, 2015, Cabka-IPS will be presenting one of the world’s most comprehensive and innovative ranges of plastic pallets and boxes at the LogiMAT, the International Trade Fair for Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow.

Cabka-IPS products make the work easier for companies in many different industries. They are used, for example, in the food and beverage industry, the automotive sector, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and in retail and agribusiness.

Among many other products that the company  will be introducing is its new picking pallet Retail E5.2. As a lightweight, nestable and strong pallet, it meets all of the requirements of the food distribution industry and offers the perfect alternative to standard wooden pallets, which often incur splitting and moisture, and result in higher follow-up costs.

The Retail E5.2 is 100% compatible with its predecessor model, which has been successfully used by leading European food discounters in a closed pool for a number of years. Thanks to a comprehensive redesign of the cover structure, Cabka-IPS engineers were able to increase the flexural strength of the Retail E5.2 by 10% as compared to the E5.1.

In addition, the pallet's light weight of only 7.2kg ensures that more than 500kg in load carrier weight and a corresponding CO2 amount are saved during every truck transport to a store.

Cabka-IPS will be in Hall 3 / Stand 3B31 at LogiMAT 2015 in Stuttgart from February 10-12.
