New skin die for traysealers

AT IFFA 2016, Multivac will introduce its latest die concept on the T 800 traysealer, an automatic packaging line. With this new concept, all the stages for the process take place within the die – without restricting the use of the full die format. This also includes the heating of the skin film. This controlled process ensures a high level of pack quality and output. 

Since only the die and grippers have to be changed to carry out the format change, machine downtime is also reduced to a minimum. Modified atmosphere packs or packs without modified atmosphere can also be produced on the traysealer. 

The high-output T 800 traysealer is suitable for packaging large batches and can be operated from both sides, and it can be integrated into automated packaging lines. The T 800 line consists of a denester with tray tracking, conveyor belts, a metal detector, an L 310 conveyor belt labeller for top and bottom labelling, and an H 130 handling module for handling finished packs.
