New vertical CNC lathe from Okuma

Okuma has launched the V760EX vertical lathe and the 2SP-V760 two-spindle version—two new highly accurate and rigid turning lathes designed for maximum machining capacity in a minimum of floor space.

Installation space (width x depth) is a small 1,842 x 3,115 mm (9% smaller than previous).

Max turning diameter is ø760 mm (25% larger than previous) and milling power is 7.5/4.3 kW (double the previous output).

Long-run operations are supported by Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept.

Within an 8ºC room temperature change, dimensional deformation less than ø8 µm achieved (56% improvement).

The V760EX lathes will innovate production of large components for the aircraft, energy, large auto, and transport machine sectors.
