Nimbus acquires Battenfeld-Cincinnati

Battenfeld-Cincinnati has a new owner. Sold for the second time in less than a year, Battenfeld-Cincinnati was acquired by European investment group Industrie Holding Nimbus. Battenfeld-Cincinnati is a leading manufacturer of extruders and extrusion lines. Details of the purchase have not been made public. The acquisition is expected to enhance the financial resources of Battenfeld-Cincinnati. After the successful organizational restructuring in the middle of last year, Battenfeld-Cincinnati can now focus on further product developments and investments that will strengthen and expand market leadership with Nimbus’ support, according to Gerold Schley, CEO of the Battenfeld-Cincinnati Group.
